Tramar Lacel Daillard
Tramar Lacel Daillard also referred to
as Flo Rida, is an American artist and rapper. He is from Carol City in
Florida. The 2008 track "Low" was a top-ten hit for ten consecutive
weeks in the United States. It also set a record for digital download sales at
the time. Flo Rida's debut album, 2008's Mail on Sunday reached number four in
America. R.O.O.T.S. followed the album in the US. The albums that followed,
2010's Only One Flo (Part 1) and 2012's Wild Ones also charted on US Billboard
200. Flo Rida's international sales of more than 80 million records make him
one of the most successful artists in the music industry. His catalog includes
the internationally smash singles "Right Round", "Club Can't
Handle Me", "Good Feeling", "Wild Ones",
"Whistle", "I Cry", "G.D.F.R. ", as well as
"My House". Mail on Sunday, Flo Rida's debut album, debuted in March
2008. The album's first single was "Low", featuring T-Pain. It was
included in the soundtrack to the movie Step Up 2: The Streets. "Low"
hit No. "Low" was ranked the No. 1. on the Billboard Hot 100 charts.
"Elevator", featuring Timbaland as well as "In the Ayer"
featuring will.i.am and will.i.am, were followed by "Roll" with Sean
Kingston. Both charted on the Hot 100 as well. Mail included a host of guests
on Sunday, including T-Pain. Timbaland is the producer on the second single
"Elevator", is also included on the track. Rick Ross and Trey Songz
have also appeared. Lil Wayne performed the song "American Superstar"
while Sean Kingston sang "Roll" which was written by Spitfiya, a
Compton rapper. Birdman, Brisco, as and Yung Jock are some of the other guests.
The fourth single was slated to be "Money Right", which featured Rick
Ross and Brisco, however it was cancelled due to the release of R.O.O.T.S., Flo
Rida’s second studio album. The second song he recorded with T-Pain "I
Bet" and the collaboration with Trina known as "Bout It" The two
tracks didn't make it onto the final tracklist, but were recorded.
