Will Ferrell
Will Ferrell
became famous as the lead actor in 'Saturday Night Live'. Then, he appeared in
numerous big-screen comedies like Elf as well as' Anchorman and 'Talladega
Nights. Will Ferrell was born in Irvine in the year 1967. He started his comedy
career as member of the group based in Los Angeles, The Groundlings. He was an
Saturday Night Live cast member for seven years before becoming a huge comedic
draw with off-color shows, such as Old School 2003 and Anchorman: The Legend of
Ron Burgundy 2004. Ferrell also co-founded the popular video streaming site
Funny or Die, and had success as a voiceover actor via animated features such
as Megamind (2010). John William Ferrell was born on July 16 1967, in Irvine,
California. The oldest son of Righteous Brothers keyboardist Lee Ferrell and
teacher Kay Ferrell, Will was--by his own admission--hardly the class clown in
his time as when he was a student at University High School. He was quiet and
stoic however, he decided to play football and set a school record for the most
field goals scored. Ferrell was a more laid-back person living in suburban
homes, and he didn't display the same kind of outrageous or humorous flashes
that would later define his career. "Very even-tempered and comfortable,"
his mother recalled in an interview with Esquire. "You're familiar with
those Matchbox cars?" Will will be very happy if he lined up all of his
Matchbox cars all by himself. You'd ask, "You want to go to Disneyland
today?" You'd have to think about the matter. "That's not to say that
Ferrell was a total straight-laced man. In his regular announcements using the
PA system, a glimpse of his comedy skills was revealed every morning in high
school. Ferrell graduated from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles
in 1986. He was a member of Delta Tau fraternity, and was pursuing a degree in
sports journalism.
