Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching (born March 28 1977) is an American actress who is famous for her role as Renee Walker in the American television show 24 as well as her voice and motion capture for the character of Tess in the video game The Last of Us. Wersching was raised in St. Louis. She graduated from Crossroads College Preparatory School, St. Louis' Central West End in the year 1995. In her youth she competed as an Irish dancer and part of the St. Louis Celtic stepdancers. She has earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in musical theatre from Millikin University, graduating in 1999. Wersching began her acting career with guest appearances on the show Star Trek: Enterprise, and then moved to guest starring roles on shows such as Charmed Killer Instinct, Supernatural and Cold Case. From March through November 2007 she played the role of Amelia Joffe on the ABC Daytime soap series General Hospital. In addition, she's been in theaters like Victory Gardens and Marriott Lincolnshire. She also appeared as a series regular on Bosch, an Amazon Prime crime-show Bosch in 2014. Wersching was a catcher on the National League during the 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends, Celebrity Softball Game and 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends. Wersching also voiced the role of Tess in The Last of Us on PlayStation 3. Her character was teased on Geoff Keighley's twitter account prior to when she was made public in the story trailer shown on Spike Video Game Awards on December 7th, 2012.In September 2021, it was revealed that Wersching will play the Borg Queen in the second season of Star Trek: Picard.
